"Obi-Wan Kenobi, later known as Ben Kenobi, was a legendary Jedi Master who played a significant role in the fate of the galaxy during the waning days of the Galactic Republic. He was personally responsible for the deaths of Darth Maul and General Grievous, and indirectly caused the deaths of Darth Tyranus, Darth Vader, and Darth Sidious by training Anakin and Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force. He had a long and tumultuous career that has helped shape the fate of an entire galaxy. He received his training from Masters Yoda and Qui-Gon Jinn. He taught both Anakin and Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force, even carrying out his role as a mentor to the younger Jedi beyond his natural life through use of the Force, remaining a significant influence on Luke Skywalker's foundation of the New Jedi Order.
It was Mundi who was apparently the most surprised at Qui-Gon Jinn's 32 BBY report of a re-emerged Sith—being sure that the Sith were extinct. As a High General, he fought many battles during the Clone Wars. He was killed on Mygeeto during Order 66."
Though Yoda was, arguably, the most highly Force-attuned member of the Order, he was not flawless. It was partially due to his failure to recognize that Supreme ChancellorPalpatine was actually responsible for the outbreak of the Clone Wars, and was in fact the Sith LordDarth Sidious, that the Republic was overthrown and the Jedi Order decimated. The Grand Master was among the few Jedi to survive Emperor Palpatine's Great Jedi Purge, after the beginning of which, he went into exile on the swamp planet of Dagobah.
Later, before becoming one with the Force in 4 ABY, the exiled Jedi Master was responsible for the instruction of Luke Skywalker who would use Yoda's training as a basis for the creation of a New Jedi Order, after defeating the Sith. Following his death, Master Yoda retained his identity within the Force and was revered as among the most legendary Jedi Master's of all time by Skywalker's reconstituted Order."
Mace Windu was a maleKorunJedi Master of legendary status who was the Master of the Order in the days leading up to the Battle of Geonosis, after which he gave the title to Grand MasterYoda.[11] Hailing from the world of Haruun Kal, Mace Windu served as one of the last members of the Jedi High Council before the Great Jedi Purge. Serving on the Council, Windu was often regarded as second only to the Grand Master Yoda, though Windu was eight centuries Yoda's junior. Windu's wisdom and power were legendary, as were the weight of his words.
Widely considered one of the best swordsmen in the Jedi Order, Windu created Vaapad, the modern seventh form of lightsaber combat, and was one of only two people to fully master it, and the only one of those two not to fall to the dark side. It was said that the only opponents with a chance to out spar him were Yoda and Count Dooku.
Mace Windu served the Jedi Order his entire life, training numerous Jedi, including Depa Billaba, Echuu Shen-Jon, and Iguni. It was Master Windu who led 212 Jedi into combat at the Battle of Geonosis and defeated the infamous bounty hunterJango Fett. He continued to serve the Republic throughout the Clone Wars, often on the frontlines of fierce fighting, where he led Republic forces as a High Jedi General. In the final days of the war, Windu confronted and defeated Darth Sidious in a difficult duel. Before he could finish off Sidious, however, he was ultimately betrayed by Anakin Skywalker and subsequently killed by Sidious, falling to his death from the window of Sidious's office.

Qui-Gon Jinn
"Qui-Gon Jinn was a revered, yet maverick and unconventional Jedi Master, Padawan to CountDooku, and mentor to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Qui-Gon often placed himself in conflict with the Jedi Council. He was deeply attuned to the Living Force, which contributed to his frequent taking side trips to help seemingly "pathetic life-forms." Despite his opposition to the council, he was regarded by many Jedi as sharp-witted and for possessing great wisdom.
Qui-Gon served the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order his entire life, participating in actions against the Nebula Front and most famously during the Invasion of Naboo. It was Qui-Gon who discovered the Chosen One (Anakin Skywalker), on Tatooine during this crisis and was largely responsible for championing his training. Even after his death at the hands of Darth Maul he played a vital role in the legacy of the Jedi Order."
