Battle of Teth

Picture
"The Battle of Teth took place in 22 BBY on the planet Teth during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Seeking to gain safe passage through Hutt Space, Count Dooku and the Confederacy kidnapped Rotta, son of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, intending to frame the Jedi Order for the crime. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his recently apprenticed Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, were assigned to retrieve Rotta, in order to win the crime lord's favor for safe passage through Hutt Space. Skywalker and Tano ventured to the B'omarr Order Monastery on Teth—where the Huttlet had been located by Republic scouts—with clone troopers of Torrent Company, while Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobihome planet of Tatooine. negotiated with Jabba on the crime lord's

Unable to land at the Teth monastery because of the battle droids guarding it, Skywalker and Tano's forces were deployed in the jungle below, and commenced a vertical assault up the cliff using two AT-TE walkers. After Skywalker and Tano defeated the droids and had retrieved the Huttlet, the Confederacy—under command of Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress—commenced a renewed assault of the monastery, and the Republic forces were forced to barricade themselves inside the stronghold. The two Jedi went to find a secondary exit to escape the monastery, hoping to find medical support for the Huttlet, while Clone Captain CC-7567 stayed to command Torrent Company.

Ventress and her forces, however, managed to enter the monastery, and all but six clone troopers—including Rex—were taken captive. With the help of the astromech droid R2-D2, Skywalker and Tano located a rear exit in the monastery, and confronted Ventress herself before escaping in an old freighter. The pair was forced to continue directly to Tatooine on the ship, as the main hangar of the Venator-class cruiser Spirit of the Republic was severely damaged by Confederate Vulture droid fire. Meanwhile, High General Kenobi, having finished negotiations with Jabba, arrived on Teth with reinforcements, in the form of Ghost Squadron and several LAAT/i gunships. Kenobi also dueled with Ventress, and the Dark Acolyte escaped after she discovered that her forces were losing and that Skywalker had left the system for Tatooine. The Republic forces were able to beat back the Confederacy."

Battle of Dha Werda Verda

Dha Werda Verda ("Warriors of the Shadow" in ancient Mando'a) was an ancient poem that told of the final battle between the Taungs and the Zhell on Coruscant. During this battle, a volcano erupted and almost destroyed the Zhell army. Ash covered the skies of Coruscant for two years.

Battle of Coruscant

"The Battle of Coruscant was a crucial Clone Wars battle in 19 BBY. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, knowing the Jedi were close to discovering his alter ego, the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, ordered his apprentice, Dooku, public leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, to kidnap him.

The Confederacy, led by General Grievous, swept into the system, catching the Republic completely by surprise. The Confederate Navy hammered the few defending warships, destroying them, before assaulting the planet itself. Meanwhile, Grievous, along with his MagnaGuard droid elite, landed on the planet, heading for Chancellor Palpatine's secret bunker. Grievous fought his way there, leaving destruction in his wake, as several Jedi and dozens of clone troopers were killed. He succeeded in taking Palpatine, before fleeing to his flagship in orbit, the Invisible Hand.

However, the Separatists were unable to leave, as Republic reinforcements had arrived. The two fleets engaged each other, firing volleys back and forth. Two Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, who had just arrived at the battle, flew into the heart of it, determined to rescue the captive chancellor. They succeeded in boarding the Invisible Hand, and after a duel, Skywalker killed Dooku.

The duo, along with the now-freed Palpatine, were unable to escape however, as Grievous's droids captured them. Skywalker and Kenobi were able to best his MagnaGuards, forcing the general to flee. With that, the Separatist fleet retreated, having lost much of their fleet. Chancellor Palpatine was safe in Republic hands. However, the Jedi were unaware that Palpatine had orchestrated the battle, and was also testing Anakin Skywalker, whom he considered a good choice for his apprentice."

Battle of Murkhana

Picture
"The Battle of Murkhana took place during the final weeks of the Clone Wars. The Grand Army of the Republic staged an assault of Murkhana, headquarters of the Corporate Alliance and residence of Magistrate Passel Argente...
After three weeks of fighting, Jedi General Roan Shryne and Clone Commander Salvo, accompanied by Bol Chatak and her Padawan Olee Starstone, led an assault on an Alliance landing platform in Murkhana City, leading a wing of LAAT/i gunships from the Star Destroyer Gallant.

The clone forces fought against battle droids and tank droids across the city. General Shryne, aided by the clone commando Climber and his Ion Squad, succeeded in destroying the deflector shield generator that protected the landing platform.

However, the fall of the platform coincided with the execution of Order 66, which saw the deaths of three Jedi on Murkhana. However, Climber and his squad refused to carry out the order on Roan, Bol and Olee, allowing them time to flee.

Shortly afterwards, Darth Vader sent orders from Mustafar for the deactivation of the Separatist Droid Army. All droid units on Murkhana shut down immediately. The Jedi had disguised themselves as Corporate Alliance mercenaries, though with no droids left to fight, the clone troopers focused on rounding up their organic enemies.

Battle of Mygeeto

Picture
"The battle began in 21 BBY, and went on for two years[2] until Supreme Chancellor Palpatine declared Mygeeto part of a "triad of evil", three planets which formed Separatist bastions. Along with Felucia and Saleucami, Mygeeto was singled out as a prime target whose fall would help end the conflict.[6]

The Battle officially began as the Republic encountered the Separatist blockade. The Separatist blockade was rather easy to destroy and the Republic soon began dispaching their ground forces to the surface. Subsequently, the battle intensified on the planet, which was a major holding of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Galactic Marines, under the command of Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi and Commander Bacara, battled the Separatist Droid Army in extended urban fighting amid the ultramodern towers of a major Mygeeteen city. Elements of the 501st Legion fought in the final stages of the battle on Commander Bacara's recommendation, although General Ki-Adi-Mundi was wary due to their operation outside of his command.[5]

The 501st, according to Mundi, were sent to Mygeeto to destroy an energy collector. But actually, the troopers were seeking out an ancient Mygeetan crystal powering the energy collector which was an experimental power source that the Chancellor required for a top-secret tributary laser-stream project codenamed "Hammertong".[5]

Some of the clone troopers of the 501st Legion that beat back the CIS assault. The 501st landed and advanced on the droids. Only one gunship could land, due to the particle cannon turrets. They took the bridge and advanced forward to a command post, guarded by several B2 Battle Droids and two magnaguards. With the help of AT-RTs, the clones cleared the post and captured it. Quickly, they destroyed two particle cannon turrets, allowing Mundi to land. After Mundi landed, he eliminated AATs that had ambushed the clones and they continued. He destroyed two shield barricades, two more AA guns and captured a outpost, giving the clones a tactical advantage over the droids. Two more gunships landed, sending more troops.[5]

A platoon of droids met them on the bridge between the energy collector, but with the help of Ki-Adi-Mundi, they plowed through their lines. Behind the lines, Ki-Adi-Mundi then engaged B2 Battle Droids, magnaguards and three droidekas as he destroyed the two shield barricades protecting the energy collector. Afterwards, he destroyed the energy collector. Then, a clone marine collected a sample of the energy, and aided by four clone commanders, gunned down the enemy droids to return to the dropship.[5]

During a concentrated Republic push to rout the Separatists, fighting spread across the cities of Mygeeto. Ki-Adi-Mundi skillfully used his lightsaber to deflect enemy fire, while leading a force of Marines supported by UT-AT assault vehicles and other heavy walkers. Tri-droids provided heavy fire that destroyed several UT-ATs. While doing this he managed to lead the galactic marines to a bridge where Separatist forces were determined to keep but failed in doing so.[3]

The battle intensified on a number of vast bridges, which stretched across a great chasm, linking several city districts. The clones continued to secure bridge after bridge. It was here that Ki-Adi-Mundi would fight his last battle."
